Born and raised in Brooklyn, I’ve always had the desire to experience new places and try new things. I absolutely love to read books and eat delicious food from all over the world, but most of all, I find traveling to be one of the greatest pleasures in life. In the last 20 years I have travelled to over 40 countries, sometimes for a week, sometimes for several months. Not quite a backpacker, not a true luxury traveller, I find myself often mixing the two for a perfect balance. I enjoy splurging for a fine dining meal but also know the value of a hole in the wall restaurant, or a meal from a street cart. I look forward to sharing my experiences from the past and my adventures in the future.
The only things better than enjoying an amazing meal in a new place, are my husband Eddie and Golden Retriever Marshall. Love is the best journey.

“Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste food when you eat, and when you sleep really to sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might. And when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.” ~Ernest Hemingway
